Xpeng Sets September 17 Launch Date for G9L Five-Seat SUV in China

Xpeng has confirmed that its new G9L will make its official Chinese market debut on September 17. The five-seat SUV had already opened for pre-sales in August, giving early buyers a chance to reserve the model ahead of the formal launch.

The G9L’s pre-sale pricing starts at 259,800 yuan, which works out to roughly $38,380. That figure positions the five-seat SUV at the more accessible end of Xpeng’s utility vehicle lineup in China.

With the launch event now locked in, Xpeng is preparing to move the G9L from pre-order phase to full market availability in its home country. More product and delivery details are expected to be shared around the September 17 event.
