Editorial Policy

1. Editorial independence

AutoVoltix is an independent electric/hybrid vehicle news outlet. Every article is an original editorial rewrite based on reporting from established automotive and technology outlets, always credited with a link to the original source — we do not republish source text verbatim (see our Terms of Use §2-3 for the full editorial accuracy and correction process). Articles independently reported by multiple sources are marked as such; single-source articles are marked accordingly.

If we publish a correction, the article is updated in place with a visible "Updated" note. If we retract an article, it stays accessible with a notice explaining why, rather than being deleted — this is for transparency, not an admission that the original claim was accurate.

2. Prohibited content

The following categories are never published on AutoVoltix, in articles, comments, or advertising creative: adult/explicit content; gambling or betting promotion; drugs, alcohol, or tobacco promotion; pirated software or unauthorized-download links; hate speech; and content that promotes illegal or unsafe driving practices, including illegal street racing or devices designed to defeat emissions controls, radar, or laser enforcement. Automotive culture coverage (e.g. classic cars, motorsport) is welcome, but never in a way that glorifies unlawful or unsafe behavior.

3. Sponsored content, affiliate links, and advertising

Any sponsored placement, affiliate product recommendation, or direct advertising banner is visibly labeled ("Sponsored," "Ad," or "Advertisement") next to the unit itself — never disguised as editorial content or navigation. Outbound sponsor and affiliate links carry rel="sponsored"/rel="nofollow" attributes. Advertising units are never placed in a way that could be mistaken for a button or navigation element, and are visually and structurally separated from editorial text.

4. Vehicle comparison data

Vehicle specifications are compiled from public sources, each with a source link and verification date shown. Fields we could not independently verify are left blank rather than estimated.
