VinFast Expands Philippine Network With 27 New Showrooms Ahead of Year-End Target

Vietnam’s VinFast is pushing deeper into Southeast Asia, and the Philippines is now a central part of that plan. The automaker has struck partnership deals with 13 established automotive dealer groups in the country, an arrangement that will bring 27 additional showrooms into its retail footprint.

The move puts VinFast on a path toward roughly 60 dealership locations nationwide before the calendar year closes. Rather than building everything from scratch, the company is leaning on local dealer expertise to speed up its expansion and reach customers in more regions.

For a relatively young brand competing against entrenched players, retail visibility matters as much as product. More showrooms mean more chances for Filipino buyers to see, test, and consider VinFast models — a key step as the company works to establish itself in a market where EV adoption is still developing.
