Tesla Shares European Semi Details Ahead of Hannover Debut: 550 km Range, 800 kW Charging

Tesla has published the European specifications for its Semi, and the numbers differ from the variant already rolling off lines for US customers. According to figures shared by Tesla Europe, the electric truck can travel as far as 550 km (342 miles) when carrying a full 40-tonne load.

The disclosure lands just days before the manufacturer gives the Semi its official European introduction at the IAA Transportation exhibition in Hannover.

The gap between US and European configurations suggests Tesla is tailoring the Semi to regional operating conditions, though full details on how the two versions diverge have yet to be outlined.
