Tesla Cybertruck Powershare Now Pairs With Powerwall 3 for Longer Home Backup

Tesla has confirmed that the Cybertruck’s Powershare system can now operate alongside a Powerwall 3 to keep a home powered during outages. When the two work in tandem, the setup delivers more than three days of backup electricity, a capacity Tesla compares to adding nine extra Powerwall units.

The announcement marks the arrival of a capability Tesla had promised for 2025, roughly two years after Cybertruck deliveries started. While the wait was long, it addresses one of the most persistent complaints about Powershare: the inability to combine the truck’s battery with a home battery in a single backup system.
