Stellantis Puts Electric Vans Front and Center at IAA Transportation

At this year’s IAA Transportation in Hanover, Stellantis Pro One dedicated a large share of its exhibit to battery-powered commercial vehicles, underscoring how seriously the group is treating electrification in the van segment. All told, 13 commercial vehicles were on display, drawn from Citroën, Fiat Professional, Opel and Peugeot.
Battery-electric vans formed the backbone of the stand, joined by smaller electric models aimed at urban delivery work. That mix reflects where much of the pressure for zero-emission fleets is coming from: city centers with tightening access rules and operators watching fuel and maintenance costs.
By spreading electric commercial offerings across four of its brands, Stellantis is positioning itself to serve fleet buyers with different budgets and brand loyalties rather than pushing a single solution. The breadth of the lineup suggests the company sees last-mile and urban logistics as a key battleground for electrification.
