MAN Unveils Next-Gen eTGX with 720 km Range

MAN has taken the wraps off the new generation eTGX, a significant update to its electric truck that now boasts a range of 720 kilometers. This improvement comes from a combination of enhanced aerodynamics, increased recuperation, and a new battery generation, showcasing MAN’s commitment to advancing electric commercial vehicles.

The eTGX’s updated design reduces drag, while the upgraded recuperation system captures more energy during braking and downhill driving. The new battery pack offers higher energy density, contributing to the impressive range figure. These enhancements make the eTGX more viable for long-haul operations.

At the IAA Transportation show, MAN is also presenting an electric version of its TGE transporter, developed in collaboration with Swiss company Flux. This partnership highlights MAN’s strategy to expand its electric lineup through innovative collaborations.

With these developments, MAN reinforces its position in the growing electric truck market, offering solutions that cater to both long-distance and urban logistics.
