Lisbon Expands Electric Bus Fleet as Carris Pushes Toward 2030 Fossil-Free Goal

Lisbon’s public transport operator Carris has added 29 new electric buses to its fleet, bringing the total number of battery-powered vehicles in service to 103. The expansion marks another step in the operator’s long-term plan to eliminate fossil fuels from its operations entirely by 2030.
