Hyundai Takes Home Three Trophies at What Car?'s 2026 Electric Car Awards

Hyundai’s electric and hybrid lineup earned recognition from What Car? this year, with the Korean automaker collecting three separate category wins at the publication’s 2026 Electric Car Awards.

The all-electric IONIQ 6 N was singled out as the top electric performance car, while the current TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid was honored in the used hybrid family SUV category. Hyundai’s previous-generation SANTA FE also picked up a win as the best used hybrid seven-seat MPV.

These awards are handed out each year by What Car?’s team of expert testers, who evaluate vehicles to identify the strongest new and used models on the market. Hyundai’s trio of wins spans both performance-focused EVs and practical family-oriented hybrids.
