Huawei-Backed Luxeed RX Electric SUV Set for September 28 Debut

Luxeed, the electric vehicle brand backed by Huawei, has confirmed that its new RX electric SUV will make its official launch on September 28. The announcement comes as the brand prepares to widen its lineup with a model aimed at the competitive premium electric SUV segment.

Ahead of the launch, Luxeed has adjusted the RX’s pre-sales pricing. The addition of a smaller-battery variant has brought the starting pre-sales figure down to 269,800 yuan, or roughly $39,980, giving buyers a more accessible entry point into the range.

Huawei’s involvement in Luxeed has been a central part of the brand’s positioning, with the tech giant contributing its automotive software and intelligent driving systems. The RX is expected to carry that technology forward into a new body style.

Full specifications, trim details, and final pricing are expected to be revealed at the September 28 launch event.
