Dacia has shifted its strategy for the Spring, its budget-friendly electric hatchback. As InsideEVs reports, the model that once embodied a low-cost Chinese import is now assembled in Slovenia, giving it a European manufacturing footprint. The all-new Spring arrives with a roomier body than before, and it can travel up to 155 miles on a single charge. Pricing starts at €17,900 in Italy. By relocating production, Dacia is positioning the Spring as a more locally rooted answer in the affordable EV segment, where Chinese-built models have often set the price benchmark.
