Denza, the premium marque under BYD’s umbrella, has confirmed that its Z9S will make its official market entrance on September 23. The company is positioning the model as the longest-range series-produced battery electric vehicle available anywhere, with a maximum claimed driving range of 1,100 km.

That figure, if it holds up under real-world conditions and standard testing cycles, would place the Z9S well ahead of most mainstream electric sedans and crossovers currently on sale.
