ZF's Commercial Vehicle Unit Reports Strong Order Book Heading Into IAA

ZF’s commercial vehicle division is arriving at the IAA transportation show with an unusually strong commercial story to tell. According to the company, its customer win rate sits close to 90%, and it has secured roughly €5 billion in awarded business for 2026.
That combination of a high hit rate on competitive bids and a sizable forward order book puts ZF CVS in a position few component suppliers can claim. Winning the vast majority of the programs it pursues suggests its technology portfolio is landing well with truck and bus manufacturers, even as the commercial vehicle sector navigates its own shift toward electrification and tighter emissions rules.
The timing matters. IAA is one of the industry’s key showcases for trucks, buses, and the supplier ecosystem behind them, and arriving with confirmed awards in hand gives ZF a concrete talking point beyond concept hardware. For fleets and OEMs watching the supply chain, the figures also hint at which suppliers are locking in长期 program positions ahead of the next model cycles.
ZF has not detailed which specific programs or customers make up the €5 billion figure, so the mix of electrified versus conventional drivetrain content remains unclear. Still, the headline numbers frame the supplier’s IAA presence around execution and demand rather than ambition alone.
