Zerova Unveils 1.44 MW MCS Charging Dispenser for Electric Trucks in Europe

At the IAA Transportation show in Hanover, Zerova introduced its MCS (Megawatt Charging System) dispenser to the European market for the first time. The satellite unit is built to handle charging capacities reaching up to 1,440 kW, targeting electric trucks and buses.

Rather than a standalone station, the dispenser works as a satellite charging unit — a modular component that can be paired with existing charging infrastructure. This approach gives fleet operators flexibility in scaling megawatt-level charging for heavy-duty electric vehicles.

The debut highlights the growing push to electrify commercial transport, where high-power charging is essential for keeping trucks and buses on the road with minimal downtime. Zerova’s entry into the European MCS space signals broader momentum toward megawatt charging standards for heavy vehicles.
