Wallbox Shuts Down US Manufacturing, Shifts Production to Barcelona

Spanish charging infrastructure company Wallbox Chargers has decided to end manufacturing operations in the United States and will move that production to its home base in Barcelona. The company stresses that this is strictly a production decision and not an exit from the American market, which remains a key region for its business.

Under the new arrangement, Wallbox intends to serve North American customers directly from its Barcelona facilities. The shift consolidates manufacturing in Spain, though it raises questions about delivery times and costs for US buyers as products will now cross the Atlantic.

Wallbox has not indicated any change to its sales, service, or support presence in the US. The relocation reflects a broader strategic choice to concentrate production capacity in Europe while maintaining a commercial footprint across the Atlantic.
