Togg T10X Keeps Its Lead in Turkey's Electric Car Market

Togg’s T10X continues to sit at the top of Turkey’s electric vehicle market, according to Anadolu Agency. The domestically produced SUV has held the leading position among battery-electric models sold in the country, underscoring the rapid rise of Turkey’s homegrown EV brand since its first deliveries.
The T10X is the flagship product of Togg, the joint venture backed by Turkish industry and founded to build a national automotive brand. The vehicle is assembled at the company’s plant in Gemlik, where production has ramped up to serve both domestic buyers and, increasingly, export markets. Its leadership in the EV segment reflects a broader shift in Turkey: electric models are steadily claiming a larger share of total passenger car sales, helped by charging infrastructure investments and favorable tax treatment for zero-emission vehicles.
Holding the top spot matters beyond bragging rights. For Togg, sustained volume leadership strengthens its position in a market that is attracting growing interest from global automakers, many of whom are expanding their electric lineups in Turkey. Established brands from Europe and Asia have introduced their own EVs locally, but the T10X has so far managed to stay ahead on the strength of its pricing, domestic production and the symbolic appeal of a Turkish-made car.
The company has also been widening its range. Alongside the T10X, Togg has been preparing additional body styles and updated versions to keep momentum going as competition intensifies. Charging partnerships and software updates have formed part of that effort, aimed at making ownership easier for drivers who are new to electric cars.
With the electric segment still growing, the question now is whether Togg can defend its lead as more rivals arrive. For the moment, the data cited by Anadolu Agency points to the same conclusion: the T10X remains the model to beat in Turkey’s EV market.
