Tesla Brings Cybercab Display to Beijing and Shanghai This Week

Tesla is putting its Cybercab on public display in two of China’s biggest cities this week. The autonomous two-seater will appear in Beijing and Shanghai beginning September 17, giving local audiences a closer look at the vehicle Tesla has positioned as the centerpiece of its robotaxi ambitions.

The two-city showcase follows different schedules. Beijing’s display will remain open through September 27, while the Shanghai exhibition wraps up earlier, on September 21. The staggered timing means visitors in the capital have a longer window to see the vehicle in person.

The move puts the Cybercab in front of Chinese consumers and industry watchers at a moment when autonomous driving technology is drawing intense interest across the country.
