Stellantis Lists Certified Used Parts on Ovoko to Challenge New Part Dominance in Europe

Stellantis is taking a direct step into the circular economy through its SUSTAINera division, which will now offer end-of-life OEM parts via the online marketplace Ovoko. This move positions Stellantis as one of the first major automakers to treat recycled components as a mainstream alternative to newly manufactured parts across Europe.
The strategy responds to growing pressure on both environmental and economic fronts. By certifying and listing used parts, Stellantis aims to lower repair costs for older vehicles while keeping material flows within its own supply chain. Ovoko, which specializes in dismantled vehicle parts, provides the digital infrastructure to connect salvage yards with repair shops and consumers.
Industry observers see the listing as more than a side project. It signals that OEMs are beginning to compete with the independent aftermarket on price and availability for end-of-life components. If successful, the model could push other manufacturers to formalize similar certified used parts channels, potentially reshaping how European drivers source replacements for aging vehicles.
