REPT Battero Teams Up with Haller to Push Electric Fleets Across Europe

Chinese battery maker REPT Battero has signed a memorandum of understanding with Haller, a move aimed at strengthening its foothold in Europe’s commercial electric vehicle battery segment. The agreement was highlighted during REPT Battero’s appearance at a trade fair in Hanover, which the company used to signal its longer-term ambitions on the continent.

By partnering with Haller, REPT Battero is looking to build a durable supply position rather than chase short-term deals. Commercial fleets — vans, trucks and other work vehicles — are a key growth area for battery suppliers as European operators face tightening emissions rules and rising pressure to electrify.

The MOU itself is a framework rather than a finished contract, so concrete volumes and timelines remain unconfirmed. Still, the tie-up shows how Chinese battery manufacturers are increasingly courting European commercial vehicle players to secure a slice of a market that is expected to expand steadily over the coming years.
