Quantron Teams Up with HyperView to Form China Joint Venture

German commercial vehicle specialist Quantron has partnered with Chinese technology firm HyperView to create a new joint venture called Quantron China. The company will focus on developing a platform that supports both battery-electric and hydrogen-powered trucks and buses.

Foxconn is also joining the project as an industrial manufacturing partner, bringing large-scale production capabilities to the table. This collaboration aims to accelerate the rollout of zero-emission commercial vehicles in the Chinese market.

The joint venture signals Quantron’s broader strategy to expand its footprint beyond Europe and tap into Asia’s growing demand for clean transport solutions.
