Mercedes Adds All-Wheel Drive VLE 400 4MATIC, Starting Under €80,000

Mercedes-Benz is broadening its electric VLE range with a new dual-motor option. The VLE 400 4MATIC brings all-wheel drive to the lineup, with German pricing beginning at €78,500.

The new variant can be configured as either a five- or six-seater, giving buyers a choice between passenger capacity and cargo flexibility. All-wheel drive should appeal to drivers in regions where wet or wintry conditions make extra traction worthwhile.

With this addition, Mercedes continues to flesh out its electric VLE family, positioning the 4MATIC model just below the €80,000 mark in its home market.
