Leapmotor Heads to Paris With B03 and D19, Its First Shows Outside China

Leapmotor is preparing its biggest European moment yet. At the Paris Motor Show, running 12–18 October, the Chinese brand will pull the wraps off two models that have never been displayed outside its home market: the B03 compact hatchback and the D19 flagship SUV. Both will share space with the rest of Leapmotor’s European line-up on what the company describes as its largest stand to date.

The timing reflects how much Europe now matters to Leapmotor’s growth. The region accounted for 13% of the brand’s global sales in 2026, giving it a weight that makes a dedicated European range worth investing in. The B03, a battery-electric city car aimed at younger buyers, is rated for up to 392 km on the WLTC combined cycle in its Promax battery specification, though that figure still awaits homologation. Leapmotor pairs the hatchback with fast charging, a bundle of driver assistance features and a two-level boot, positioning it as a purpose-built entry point for European customers.

Above it sits the D19, a six-seat range-extended electric SUV. Its 80.3 kWh battery is, according to Leapmotor, the largest fitted to any hybrid of this type. The vehicle is said to travel more than 300 km purely on electricity before the combustion engine steps in. Cabin touches include zero-gravity captain’s chairs in the second row and a built-in oxygen generator.

The two newcomers will not be alone on the stand. The T03 city car, B05 hatchback, the newly introduced B03X, the B10 C-SUV and the C10 D-SUV round out a display that now spans six models, covering everything from small urban runabouts to large SUVs. That breadth gives Leapmotor a presence in most mainstream European segments, a notable step for a brand still establishing itself on the continent.

Leapmotor’s two-level exhibit sits in Hall 4 alongside Stellantis brands, underlining the partnership that has helped open European doors for the company. A press conference is scheduled there at 10:40 CEST with senior international executives, and a gaming corner built around the B05 will stay active throughout the week. The Paris appearance marks a clear statement of intent: Leapmotor is no longer treating Europe as a side market, but as a core part of its expansion.
