Hyundai Mobis powers up its first European EV drive plant in Slovakia

Hyundai Mobis has officially kicked off operations at its first European facility dedicated to electric drive systems. Located in Nováky, Slovakia, the new plant is designed to produce up to 280,000 units per year, supporting the automaker’s growing EV ambitions across the continent.

The facility will assemble key components such as motors and power electronics, playing a crucial role in Hyundai and Kia’s electrified lineup. The site is strategically positioned to supply European assembly plants efficiently, reducing logistics costs and lead times.
