Hankook Expands Regional Tyre Range with Smart Flex TH51 Trailer Model at IAA 2026

Hankook used the IAA 2026 stage to pull the wraps off its Smart Flex TH51, a trailer tyre built for regional haulage operators across Europe. The launch fills the final slot in a three-tyre set the company has been assembling, meaning fleets can now spec Hankook rubber across every axle position on a trailer combination.

The move reflects a broader push among tyre makers to offer complete, fleet-wide solutions rather than individual products. For regional operators juggling mixed routes and tight cost margins, having one supplier cover steer, drive and trailer axles simplifies procurement and service planning.

Hankook has not yet detailed pricing or the full technical specifications for the TH51. The company framed the debut as part of its wider commercial vehicle portfolio strategy in Europe, where regional distribution and logistics remain a core segment.
