Geely's Farizon Brand Brings Three Electric Vans to IAA Debut

Geely’s commercial vehicle arm, Farizon, used the IAA Transportation show to make its European debut, arriving with a lineup of three electric vans. The company framed the launch around the Farizon SV model, which has already picked up a five-star Euro NCAP rating and finished as runner-up in the International Van of the Year award.

Those two results are being presented as evidence that Farizon has prepared thoroughly for the demanding European market rather than simply showing up with a product. The Euro NCAP score and IVOTY recognition give the brand independent credibility benchmarks as it tries to establish itself against established van makers.

Farizon’s arrival adds another challenger to Europe’s fast-growing electric light commercial vehicle segment, where traditional manufacturers are already rolling out battery-powered replacements for their best-selling vans. The brand is leaning on its Geely parentage and safety credentials to differentiate its offering.

Details on pricing, specifications and the timing of a full European sales rollout were not disclosed in the announcement.
