Fering, a manufacturer known for its rugged off-road vehicles, has announced a partnership with Turntide Technologies to equip its parallel hybrid drivetrain with advanced axial flux motors and inverters. The collaboration is aimed at enhancing the performance and efficiency of Fering’s vehicle platform, which is designed for long-range missions, tough off-road conditions, and adaptability across various sectors.

Under the agreement, Turntide will supply an axial flux traction motor, a secondary motor dedicated to power generation, and the required inverters. This setup supports the hybrid architecture, allowing for optimized power delivery and energy management in demanding environments.
