comemso Integrates ISO 15118 Charging Test Libraries Into Its Own comframe Platform

German testing equipment specialist comemso has shifted its charging-station test libraries onto comframe, the company’s in-house software environment. The libraries are built around the ISO 15118-4 and ISO 15118-5 standards, which govern digital communication between electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.

With the move, developers can now set up, execute and assess standardized communication tests for both AC and DC charging stations without leaving the comframe platform. That consolidation aims to streamline how engineers validate charging equipment against the ISO 15118 family of protocols.

comemso says more test libraries are on the way, signaling continued expansion of the platform’s testing capabilities as charging hardware grows more complex.
