BorgWarner Brings LFP Battery Pack for Electric Trucks to IAA 2026

BorgWarner used its appearance at IAA 2026 to introduce European audiences to its LFP Compact Pack, a lithium iron phosphate battery aimed at electric commercial vehicles. The debut marks the supplier’s entry into the battery supply business for the heavy-duty segment.

The company’s display was not limited to electrification. BorgWarner also showcased combustion-related technologies, reflecting a product strategy that keeps one foot in traditional powertrains while it expands into electric components.

By pairing battery hardware with its existing combustion portfolio, BorgWarner is positioning itself to serve commercial vehicle makers regardless of which drivetrain path they pursue.
