Audi Cuts Q6 e-tron Pricing and Revives the A2 as an All-Electric Model

Audi is making two notable moves in the electric vehicle market: reducing prices on its updated Q6 e-tron lineup while bringing back the A2 nameplate, this time as a battery electric vehicle. The German automaker says the new A2 will support both vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-home (V2H) functionality, allowing the car to power external devices or feed energy back into a home.

Alongside the relaunch, Audi claims the A2 features the most efficient motor it has ever produced. The combination of a familiar name, added bidirectional charging capability, and improved efficiency signals Audi’s intent to compete more aggressively in the growing EV segment.

The pricing adjustments to the Q6 e-tron range are positioned as part of the same update cycle. By trimming costs on existing models and introducing a fresh entry with the A2, Audi appears to be responding to pressure from rivals and shifting consumer expectations around value in the electric market.
