Alpitronic Expands Commercial Charging Lineup with New Compact Depot Dispenser

Alpitronic is broadening its commercial charging portfolio with a new compact depot dispenser, responding to a market where different sites call for different architectures. The company argues that while distributed charging systems suit some applications, all-in-one chargers remain the better choice for others.

The manufacturer already covers both ends of that spectrum. Its HYC1000 distributed charging system, introduced in 2025, pairs a Power Cabinet housing eight 125 kW Power Stacks with separate dispensers, an approach aimed at larger, more demanding installations where power can be shared dynamically.

The new depot dispenser slots into the range as a smaller-footprint option, giving operators another way to configure commercial charging sites without committing to a full distributed setup. Alpitronic has not disclosed detailed specifications or pricing for the unit in the announcement.

As the DC fast charging market matures, charger makers are increasingly segmenting their products by use case rather than pushing a single design for every location. Alpitronic’s dual-track strategy reflects that shift, offering both centralized power cabinets and standalone units depending on the site.
