ABB E-Mobility and Elexon Team Up to Electrify Commercial Fleet Depots

ABB E-Mobility has joined forces with Elexon to help logistics operators and commercial vehicle fleets convert their depots to electric power. The partnership brings together ABB’s charging hardware with Elexon’s expertise in planning, installation, operation and ongoing service.

Under the arrangement, customers in Germany and Austria will be able to access a bundled offering that covers the full lifecycle of depot charging — from the initial site assessment and technical design through to day-to-day operation and maintenance. Rather than sourcing hardware and services separately, fleet operators can work with a single coordinated package.

Depot charging is a growing priority for hauliers and delivery companies as they look to switch their van and truck fleets away from diesel. Reliable, well-planned charging at the home base is essential for keeping vehicles on the road without long interruptions. By combining their strengths, ABB E-Mobility and Elexon aim to lower the barrier for businesses taking that step.
