XPENG Sees Modest 4% Sales Growth in August

XPENG reported a slight year-over-year increase in August, delivering 39,107 vehicles. This marks a 4% rise compared to the same month last year, when the company delivered 37,709 units. On a month-over-month basis, deliveries also grew by 3%, up from 38,027 in July.

While the monthly figures show positive movement, the broader picture for the first eight months of the year appears less encouraging. The company’s cumulative performance has not maintained the same upward trajectory, suggesting challenges in sustaining momentum throughout 2026. XPENG continues to navigate a competitive EV landscape, where even small gains can be significant.
