Xiaomi EV's April Delivery Surge: SU7 Makes Up Nearly Three-Quarters

Chinese smartphone-to-EV maker Xiaomi has reported strong vehicle delivery figures for April, showcasing continued momentum in its young automotive business. The company delivered a total of 36,702 electric vehicles during the month, marking a solid monthly performance.

A significant portion of these deliveries came from the new-generation SU7 sedan. In its first full month on the market, the refreshed SU7 model contributed 26,826 units, accounting for roughly 73 percent of the company’s total monthly deliveries.

This performance underscores the strong consumer demand for Xiaomi’s latest EV offering, as the company ramps up production capacity and expands its retail presence across China. The SU7’s rapid adoption indicates that Xiaomi is carving out a meaningful niche in the highly competitive domestic EV landscape.
