Vocational Students Get Hands-On With Turkey's Togg, as a National EV Lands in the Workshop

Turkey’s homegrown electric vehicle brand, Togg, has found an unexpected second classroom: the workshops of vocational high schools. According to Yeni Şafak, students at these schools are being given access to the car as part of a training push designed to build practical skills around electric mobility.

The idea is simple. Instead of learning about electric drivetrains only from textbooks, students can study the vehicle up close, examining the hardware and systems that make a modern EV run. It is a rare chance for young technicians to work with a domestically produced model rather than an imported example.

That framing matters in Turkey, where Togg has been positioned as a flagship of national industrial ambition. Bringing the car into school ateliers gives the project a human face and helps seed a future workforce that understands electric platforms from the inside.
