Tesla Rolls Out FSD Lite Update for Older Model 3 and Model Y in Australia and New Zealand

Tesla has begun delivering its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Lite update to older Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in Australia and New Zealand, marking a significant step for owners with earlier Autopilot hardware. The update, which was previously expected to arrive later, is now being pushed to compatible cars, bringing a limited version of FSD capabilities to these markets.

FSD Lite is designed for vehicles that lack the latest Hardware 4 (HW4) computer, offering a subset of features from the full FSD suite. This includes enhanced autopilot functions, but with a reduced feature set compared to newer models.
