Solaris wins order for 20 electric buses in Czech Olomouc

Solaris has secured a deal to supply the transport operator in Olomouc, Czech Republic, with 20 battery-electric buses. The vehicles are slated for delivery by 2028, and the contract includes an option that could see the total number doubled.

This order underscores the continued shift toward zero-emission public transport in Central Europe. The Polish manufacturer’s electric Urbino models are already operating in several Czech cities, and this new agreement further strengthens its presence in the region.
