NeoVolta Secures 9 GWh US-Made Battery Cell Supply from SK On

NeoVolta Power has signed a five-year agreement with Seoul-based battery manufacturer SK On to supply US-produced battery cells for its Georgia factory. The deal gives the American energy storage company a steady, domestic-sourced supply of cells as it works to expand production capacity.

The arrangement covers 9 GWh of battery cells over the five-year period, a volume that supports NeoVolta’s plans to scale up its manufacturing operations in Georgia. By sourcing cells made in the United States, NeoVolta aligns with growing demand for domestically produced energy storage components.

The partnership pairs a US storage specialist with a major Korean cell producer, reflecting the broader trend of cross-border collaboration in the battery supply chain. NeoVolta has not disclosed financial terms or a precise delivery schedule for the cells.
