MAN, RMMV and WB Group Forge Defence Alliance, Boosting Poland's Manufacturing Role

MAN Truck & Bus has joined forces with Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) and Poland’s WB Group in a new European defence partnership. The collaboration is part of a broader push to strengthen Europe’s defence industrial base.

The tie-up comes as MAN invests €1.2 billion in a Kraków facility, a move that underscores Poland’s growing importance in European commercial vehicle production. The revival of the STAR brand, a historic Polish truck marque, is also part of this trend.

Together, these developments point to Poland’s expanding role in the sector, blending traditional manufacturing with modern defence needs.
