Mahindra's Charge_iN Hits 200 Charging Points, Opens First HPCL-Supported Station

Mahindra’s charging arm, Charge_iN, has crossed a significant milestone in India: 200 live public charging points now operating across the country. The network’s most recent addition sits along the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, at the HP Auto Care Centre in Sajgaon, marking the first location to go live under Mahindra’s partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).

That collaboration, first revealed in March 2026, is designed to tap into HPCL’s sprawling fuel station footprint to accelerate EV charger deployment nationwide. Every Charge_iN location is equipped with 180 kW dual-gun chargers, hardware tailored to support Mahindra’s electric SUV lineup, including the XEV 9e and other models built on the brand’s INGLO platform.

Looking ahead, Mahindra intends to grow Charge_iN to roughly 250 stations and around 1,000 charging points by December 2027. Meanwhile, Mahindra EV drivers already have access to approximately 35,000 public charging points nationwide, including HP eCharge stations reachable through various Charge Point Operators via the Me4U app.

The Charge_iN subsidiary itself was established in November 2025, riding the momentum of Mahindra’s record-breaking electric vehicle sales the previous year, when the company had already pushed its ultrafast public charging network to 50 live locations.
