Jackery and Pebble Team Up to Build Solar-Powered RVs

Pebble, the California-based RV maker that has been turning heads at CES, is joining forces with portable power specialist Jackery to launch a self-powered travel trailer package. The collaboration will bring custom solar panels from Jackery to the 2027 Pebble Flow, giving the electric RV a fully integrated energy system that aims to reduce reliance on campground hookups.

At the heart of the setup is a 45 kWh LFP battery pack, described as automotive-grade. Lithium iron phosphate chemistry is increasingly favored in both EVs and off-grid applications because it offers a long cycle life and a more stable thermal profile than many alternative chemistries. By pairing that storage capacity with Jackery’s solar hardware, Pebble intends for the Flow to generate and manage much of its own electricity, a concept the company calls the Self-Powered Package.

The partnership reflects a broader trend in the recreational vehicle space, where electrification is moving from a niche experiment to a mainstream expectation. Traditional RVs have long depended on diesel generators or shore power, but tighter emissions rules and consumer demand for quieter, cleaner travel are pushing manufacturers toward battery-electric architectures. Pebble has positioned itself at the forefront of that shift, and Jackery’s established reputation in portable solar and battery products gives the venture additional credibility.

Details on pricing, availability, and the exact capacity of the solar array have not been disclosed. What is clear is that the 2027 Pebble Flow will arrive with a factory-integrated energy ecosystem rather than a collection of aftermarket add-ons, a distinction that could matter for buyers who want a turnkey solution. As more companies explore self-sufficient electric RVs, the Pebble-Jackery tie-up will be one to watch for how far solar can realistically stretch a 45 kWh pack on the road.
