Hyundai and KOICA Team Up to Build Ghana's Next Generation of Auto Technicians

Hyundai Motor is joining forces with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) on a new training initiative in Ghana called “Hyundai-KOICA NextGen.” The program is designed to develop skilled automotive technicians and help strengthen the country’s workforce development system.

The partnership operates under KOICA’s Inclusive Business Solution (IBS) program, which pairs private-sector know-how and business approaches with official development assistance. Under this arrangement, Hyundai Motor and KOICA will jointly provide KRW 5 billion in funding.

By combining corporate expertise with development aid, the initiative aims to give Ghanaians practical, job-ready skills in the automotive sector while laying groundwork for longer-term workforce growth.
