Easelink Partners with SEG Automotive to Scale Automated EV Charging

Easelink has announced a collaboration with SEG Automotive to scale up its automated EV charging system. The partnership aims to bring Easelink’s Matrix Charging technology to a wider market by leveraging SEG Automotive’s manufacturing expertise.

Matrix Charging is an automated conductive charging system that uses a connector on the underside of the vehicle and a pad on the ground. When the vehicle parks over the pad, the connector lowers and makes contact, enabling charging without manual plug-in.

The collaboration will focus on industrializing and mass-producing the system, with the goal of making automated charging more accessible to EV drivers. Neither company has disclosed specific timelines or production targets.
