Cadillac Slaps a $239,000 Price Tag on a 252-Unit Escalade-V Collector Series

Cadillac is turning 125, and the brand’s way of marking the milestone is a numbered, limited-run Escalade-V with a sticker that reads $239,000. Only 252 will be built, split evenly between two paint finishes.

The math is the first thing that grabs you. A standard Escalade-V starts at $172,195 before fees, so buyers are effectively writing a check for roughly **$69,000 in appearance and exclusivity** rather than any mechanical upgrade. Under the skin, nothing changes.

Key Specs: Supercharged 6.2L V8 · 682 hp · 653 lb-ft of torque · 6,352 lb curb weight · 252 units total · $239,000

What the Extra Cash Actually Buys

Cadillac has loaded the Collector Series with cosmetic calling cards. Forged 24-inch wheels and blue brake calipers set the SUV apart at a glance, while carbon fiber shows up on the lower rear fascia, grille, side mirrors and engine cover. Badging gets a dark finish to match.

  • Paint: Vibrant White Tricoat or Midnight Stone Frost, 126 units each
  • Interior: Black and gray upholstery with Santorini Blue stitching, blue seatbelts, blue key fob
  • Details: Premium floor mats and puddle lamps projecting a heritage V8 logo
  • Numbering: Each vehicle carries a year from Cadillac’s history between 1902 and 2027
  • Personalization: Buyers can pick their own VIN and serial number

That last point is squarely aimed at collectors who care about provenance as much as horsepower. It is also the sort of perk that means little to anyone planning to actually drive the thing daily.

The Hardware Is Familiar

The powertrain is the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 found across the Escalade-V line, good for 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft. All-wheel drive is standard, MagneRide dampers handle the rough stuff, and a run to 60 mph should land under five seconds — impressive for a vehicle that tips the scales at 6,352 pounds.

Cadillac isn’t pretending this is a track toy. Massaging seats, OLED displays, available console refrigeration and an uprated sound system round out a cabin built around comfort. Anything not fitted as standard can be optioned.

Kristian Aquilina, vice president of Global Cadillac, framed the project as a nod to the brand’s history while pointing toward what comes next.

“From its exclusive design to its highly limited availability, this special edition gives collectors a distinctive way to celebrate Cadillac’s legacy while looking ahead to its future.”

A Very Narrow Buyer Pool

Let’s be honest about who this is for. At $239,000, the Collector Series costs more than most luxury homes in some markets, and it offers no performance advantage over a regular Escalade-V. The pitch is scarcity, not speed.

That is precisely why GM capped production at 252 units. Orders are open now, and the queue will likely fill with people who already have a garage full of numbered specials. For everyone else, the standard Escalade-V remains the rational choice — if a 682-hp three-row SUV can ever be called rational.
