Blink EnergyConnect: Smarter Power Distribution for EV Charging Sites

Blink Charging has introduced a new energy management system (EMS) called EnergyConnect, designed to help EV charging operators get the most out of their existing electrical infrastructure. Instead of requiring costly upgrades, the platform intelligently distributes available power across multiple chargers, ensuring that each vehicle receives an optimal charge without overloading the site’s grid connection.
The system provides real-time visibility and control over energy usage, allowing operators to monitor and adjust power allocation remotely. By balancing load dynamically, it helps reduce demand charges and improve operational efficiency. This makes it particularly valuable for sites with limited grid capacity, where adding more chargers previously meant expensive infrastructure investments.
EnergyConnect is a key part of Blink’s broader strategy to support scalable and cost-effective EV charging deployment. With growing demand for public charging, solutions like this enable operators to expand their networks more quickly and economically, while maintaining reliable service. The platform is expected to be deployed across new and existing Blink charging sites, with further integrations planned.
