Audi's China-Made EVs Slip Into Europe via Third-Party Imports

Audi has taken significant steps to keep its E5 and E7X models, built exclusively for the Chinese market, out of European showrooms. However, a third-party importer has found a way around these restrictions, bringing the EVs to European customers who are eager for more affordable electric options.

The E5, a compact SUV, and the E7X, a sleek sedan, are priced significantly lower than their European counterparts. While Audi’s official stance remains that these models are not meant for Europe, the gray-market imports create a complicated situation for the brand’s regional strategy.
