Archer Aviation has launched its “No Roads” flight tour, opening the series with a crewed round trip linking Salinas Municipal Airport and Hollister. A pilot was on board for the flight, underscoring that the company is putting its aircraft through real operational conditions rather than confining demonstrations to the ground.

The choice of two regional airports as the endpoints fits the logic behind the tour’s name: showing that short hops which normally require a lengthy drive can be handled by air. Archer has positioned the campaign as a way to put its eVTOL hardware in front of the public and to rack up flight hours in the process.
