Zeekr to Refresh 7X SUV in Q4, Adding an 85-kWh Option Between Existing Packs

Zeekr is preparing a fourth-quarter update for its 7X SUV, and the headline change is a new 85-kWh battery variant. That pack size slots in between the two capacities already offered — 75 kWh and 103 kWh — giving buyers a middle choice rather than forcing a jump from the entry pack to the largest one.

According to CnEVPost, the 2027 model-year 7X will keep the same exterior design as the current version, so the refresh is about the powertrain lineup rather than a visual overhaul.

By widening the battery range, Zeekr appears to be targeting shoppers who want more range than the base 75-kWh configuration provides but don’t need the cost and weight of the 103-kWh pack. The updated 7X is expected to arrive in the fourth quarter.
