Zeekr Sets Q1 2027 for Updated 001, Sweetens Deal on Current Car

Zeekr has used its own social channels to give buyers a heads-up: a refreshed version of its 001 shooting brake will arrive in the first quarter of 2027. The premium arm of Geely Auto says the new car keeps the existing model’s shooting-brake silhouette and its 900-volt electrical platform, while gaining more comfortable cabin features, extra personalization choices and a wider variant spread. Specifics on equipment and pricing were left out for now.
The early notice is meant to help shoppers decide whether to wait or buy now. With the current 001 nearing its first year on sale, Zeekr says it has gathered plenty of owner feedback to feed into the redesign. To keep sales moving in the meantime, the brand is running October promotions: a 10,000 yuan insurance contribution plus one of three options — a financing deal, a reduction on the final payment, or an allowance toward add-ons. A 5,000 yuan deposit placed between October 1 and 31 unlocks the offer, and depending on trim, buyers may also get free extras such as wheels and brake calipers or temporary discounts on optional equipment.
The timing is telling. The 001, once the brand’s flagship, is now a minor contributor to overall volume: 1,667 units in August, a 56.74% drop year-on-year and 22.93% below July. Over the first eight months of the year it has moved 20,076 units, down 21.50% annually and just 7.99% of Zeekr brand deliveries. The wider brand, by contrast, is booming — 36,981 vehicles in August, up 109.81% year-on-year and a fifth straight monthly record, with 251,188 units sold in the eight-month period, roughly double last year.
The present 001 landed on October 11, 2025 with an entry price of 269,800 yuan and a step up to a 900-volt architecture from the earlier 800-volt setup. An available 95-kWh battery supports 12C charging, enough to go from 10% to 80% in seven minutes. Zeekr is refreshing its range elsewhere too: a 2027 version of the 7X SUV is slated for the fourth quarter of this year.
