XPENG Brings Next-Gen AI Flagship G9L to Paris, Joins Tesla in Autonomous Lab

XPENG is preparing a major push at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, where it will give its next-generation AI-focused flagship SUV, the G9L, a global reveal. European order books are set to open at the event, with regional pricing also being announced as the brand leans further into its premium positioning.

The show floor will carry more than just cars. Across a display of over 1,000 square meters in Hall 6, XPENG plans an immersive “Physical AI Museum” divided into four zones: its technology stack, AI-defined vehicles, humanoid robots and flying cars. Visitors will see the G9L alongside the L03, P7+, G6, G9 and X9, while the company highlights progress on its IRON humanoid robot, its Robotaxi work and a Car-as-a-Robot concept that shares a platform between vehicles and robotics.

XPENG will also take part in the show’s official Autonomous Lab, joining Tesla as the only two automakers in that program. Its recently launched L03 SUV coupe will serve as the test vehicle for a large-scale NGP ride experience — the first of its kind for XPENG outside China. The company says it is localizing its intelligent-driving technology for European roads, traffic and regulations, supported by its European R&D center in Munich.

Europe has become a central part of XPENG’s growth story. The brand has delivered more than 100,000 vehicles overseas, with over 60,000 of those in Europe and more than 6,000 in France since entering that market two years ago. The G9L will be the fourth XPENG model built in Europe, underscoring an “In Europe, For Europe” strategy that combines local manufacturing, regional product planning and localized intelligent-driving development.
