Ultraviolette Charged with $85M to Power U.S. Two-Wheeler Debut

Indian electric two-wheeler company Ultraviolette Automotive has closed a funding round worth $85 million (around €74 million), giving it fresh capital for its global growth plans. The Bengaluru-based startup also confirmed it will enter the U.S. market, marking another step in its international expansion.

The investment comes as electric two-wheeler demand grows in several regions. Ultraviolette has been building a name for itself with performance-oriented electric motorcycles, and the new funds are expected to support both product development and market entry efforts.

While the company has not detailed a timeline or specific model lineup for the U.S., the move signals increasing interest from Indian EV makers in North American markets. Ultraviolette’s expansion adds to a broader wave of electric two-wheeler manufacturers looking beyond their home bases.
